The Big Time

good morning, Saturday!!

I just got back from a wonderful 7+ mile run with my friend, Abi (I LOVE starting the weekends off with a good sweat). But I really quickly wanted to update y’all about something that happened yesterday.

Now to be fair, I knew this “event” was going to be happening soon. But nothing can prepare you for the moment you actually get to experience something surreal. In this case, it was the moment when Meggie sent me a text message of a picture of her face in the latest Marie Claire magazine (!!!!).

Just after the Chicago Marathon, Meggie had an interview and a photo shoot with Marie Claire to discuss The Sussy Project. And this month’s issue brings it to light on a nation(fricken)wide scale. It’s hard to see in the above picture, but the one page spread (besides showcasing the gorgeousness of my wonderful friend) does a perfect and succinct job of describing the concept behind TSP. Please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the December issue and read more about this amazing project. A project that I am SO proud to be associated with. The surreality of the article has not yet fully sunken in, but everytime I see it, I can’t help but smile.

Meggie, I cannot even begin to express just how proud I am of you and all you have done. I cannot WAIT to see where this article takes TSP and am already buckling in for the wild ride ahead!! PS, is it time for our stint on The Ellen Show yet??
