Friday
After dropping Allie off at the in-laws, the hubs and I arrived in Chicago around 4pm. I could feel the energy the second we got onto Lakeshore Drive. “Let’s Run Together” signs hung [...]
I did it!
I’m sitting in my hotel room, exhausted and sore, but so incredibly stoked after such an unbelievable journey.
26.2 miles ran and $3,770 dollars donated. I love today.

I’ve always wondered what all the hullabaloo was about when it came to taper time during marathon training. So you don’t run as much. So what? That sounds easy enough to me. It wasn’t until this week that all that hullabaloo finally made sense.
